Margarita García Robayo

Margarita García Robayo (1980) is a colombian writer born in Cartagena and expat in Buenos Aires, city were she has worked for different journals and magazines. She is the author of the novels Lo que no aprendí (What I did not learn) finalist of the 1st Colombian Narrative Library Award, Hasta que pase un huracán (Until an earthquake comes) published by Laguna Libros on 2015, and the short story books Hay ciertas cosas que una no puede hacer descalza (There are some things that one cannot do barefoot), Las personas normales son muy raras (Normal people are too weird) and Orquídeas y cosas peores (Orchids and worst things) which won the Casa de las Américas Literature Award. Her work has been published in Argentina, Mexico, Peru, Italy, Spain and Colombia, and has been translated to various languages.
